Scott Weiland’s new album ‘Blaster’ comes out March 31. Accompanying him on the disc is his new backing band the Wildabouts, and they've just released a new single called ‘Way She Moves' (listen below).

Weiland tells Rolling Stone he wrote the tune about about his wife, photographer Jamie Wachtel. "The inspiration, lyrically, is my wife," he explains. "Pretty simple, really – I love the way she moves and I love the way she talks.”

He went on to say how this track is representative of the full album, “I think [“Way She Moves”] is representative of the full album. I think that every song is its own on a sonic level, but there's a thread that keeps everything in a cohesive flow. I think it's one of the better songs on the album, and it's one of my favorites."

Those who plan to catch Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts on the road can expect to see a new face behind the kit. He’s added former Queens of the Stone Age drummer Joey Castillo to the Wildabouts touring lineup, including their stop at SXSW, to fill-in for drummer Danny Thompson, who recently left the group.

Weiland has high expectations for Castillo, saying he’ll add "a massive drum sound and whole lot of dexterity, as well as natural and honed ability," to their live shows. Weiland and Castillo have known each other for a long time, the drummer was in a band called Sugartooth, when they acted as the openers for Stone Temple Pilots on their first tour.

These days, Weiland is 100 percent focused on his solo act and he wants to make that very clear. The rocker is once again publicly denying that he is the singer of the supergroup Art of Anarchy. He told The Daily Beast, “It was a project I did where I was just supposed to have written the lyrics and melodies for this band that I'd never heard of, and I was paid to do it, and so I did it, and did some production work on it, and the next thing I knew there were press releases that I was in the band. I mean, I did one photo shoot with them, 'cause it was part of the deal, but I'm not in the band."
