Halloween is one of the biggest holidays, following Christmas, of course. There are parties for days that you must attend and everyone tries to come up with the best recipes to impress their guests. I found a few here that you might want to give a try.

    Cheese Pumpkins

We will start with an appetizer that is so easy you don't even have to cook. Not only that the kids can help with this one. You just need some smoked cheddar cold pack cheese rolled into balls (the kids can do this part), put them in the fridge to chill, then place them on a bed of chopped nuts, stick a small pretzel in the tops for stems and draw lines on the cheese with a toothpick and you have your cheese ball pumpkins.

    Witches Brew Drink

This drink can be made for kids to enjoy or with the added vodka can be turned into a fun adult beverage too. You just need some kiwi, mint leaves, ginger ale, sugar, water, green food color and the optional vodka. Only takes about 20 minutes prep time and you are the hostess with the mostess!

    Bloodshot Eyeballs

This one just sounds yummy and I plan on trying this one myself. It's basically peanut butter balls dipped in white chocolate, then decorated to look like eyeballs. Add the m&m for the pupil and some red icing strings for veins and there you go a blood shot eyeball that will be fun to eat. Kids will love this one, I promise.

    Snake-Bite Calzone

If your kids like pizza they will love this Halloween calzone. It's like a pizza rolled up to resemble a snake. You'll need a can of refrigerated pizza dough, mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, pepperoni, pizza sauce, olives and food color. This takes under an hour from prep to finish, so you can plan accordingly to be hot and ready when your guests arrive at the door.
