‘Run to Remember 911′ is a 9.11 Kilometer Run September 6th at Red Bud Park Abilene
The first “Run to Remember” in Abilene is Sept. 6th. What makes this run special from all other 5k or 10k’s is that it’s a 9.11 kilometer run or just over five and a half miles. The run/walk will pause and pay tribute to the victims of September 11, 2001. This fundraiser benefits Jim Ned Volunteer Fire Department and the Air Force Sergeants Association Big Country Chapter 1056. This run is hosted by the Abilene Runners Club.
