Royal Thunder turned a few heads with their 2012 debut disc CVI and the band is ready to take the next step in their career with the Crooked Doors album, coming April 7. In advance of the disc hitting stores, Royal Thunder are teaming up with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive song premiere of one of the album's tracks, "Ear on the Fool."

This epic track showcases a little bit of what the band can do with its intriguing style shifts. It also offers a vocal showcase for frontwoman Mlny Parsonz. The track itself ebbs and flows with the hypnotic drumming of Evan Diprima and intricate guitar work of Josh Weaver. Meanwhile, Parsonz gets to deliver bluesy, soulful and emotionally drenched vocals at one point, while letting loose with her full belting power in other parts. In the midst of the ever-shifting song, Weaver also lets rip with soaring guitar parts.

The group entered the studio in January 2014 to start the new album and spent a majority of last year recording the disc with producer Joey Jones. “It’s been too long. Thanks for being patient with us in delivering this album! We hope you are fond of it. Looking forward to revisiting familiar places and face[s]," said the band in a statement.

"Ear on the Fool" follows the recently released Crooked Doors tracks "Time Machine" and "Glow." You can currently pre-order the disc at Amazon and iTunes. Look for the band, which now includes second guitarist Will Fiore, supporting the album on tour with Halestorm and Rival Sons in June. Dates can be found here.
