The news of Chuck Berry's passing has started to spread throughout the music community. The musician was one of the pioneers of rock and roll and was a 1986 inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His influence as a singer, songwriter, guitar player and performer is undeniable and the enormity of his passing is being felt in the music world.

Berry passed away at the age of 90 on Saturday afternoon (March 19) in St. Charles County in the St. Louis area. His career yielded such classics as "Maybellene," "Johnny B. Goode" and "My Ding-a-Ling," as well as a wealth of a number of other iconic songs. And onstage, his "duck walk" became one of the more iconic stage moves, wowing fans in the early days of rock 'n' roll.
