Rock 108’s Top Posts of 2013
2013 was a big year for Rock 108 and we've been fortunate enough to be able to share all of the excitement with you on our website.
Thank you for making a stop on on our website part of your daily routine.
As we look forward to 2014, we wanted to take a second to reflect back on some of the biggest posts we shared with you this past year.
Are Hot Girls Wearing Diapers Hot, Weird or What?
While Chaz was looking for an image to use on a blog about kids wearing diapers in public, he stumbled across some videos of diaper wearing adult girls. I’m not even sure what to think about this, but it seems (according to the traffic) that a lot of people have a freaky, weird side.
Baby Seal Gets Eaten by Shark in the Most Hilarious “Discovery Channel: Shark Week” Promo Ever
Discovery Channel’s “Shark Week” is the most exciting week in television…in my opinion. Simply put, it’s a full week of nothing but sharks.
The hype surrounding “Shark Week” is almost as epic as the hype around the McRib. In anticipation of this year’s “Shark Week”, Discovery Channel has released the most hilarious video promoting the week.
In this fake newscast, a baby seal is being released back into the ocean. Just as it’s being lowered down into the water a huge great white shark breaches and engulfs the seal.
Hot Twitter Girl of the Week – Irene Nell
It should come as no surprise that our website is packed full of hotties and the vixen that got the most attention in 2013 was Hot Twitter Girl of the Week Irene Nell.
iPhone App Instantly Adds Six-Pack Abs – Pain’s Package
How often do you get on Facebook and the first thing you see is some dude taking a selfie using a mirror at the gym?
Yeah, it happens all the time. Well, now you can show off your six-pack abs without going to the gym thanks to the iOS app called ABSmatic.
Best Stripper Songs
Along with hotties, our site is packed full of music (obviously). This post (somewhat) combines the 2 with the best stripper rock songs.
Have you ever been to a strip bar and seen a girl on that brass pole gyrating in a way that appeared she was having a seizure? That’s because she didn’t pick the right song to swing those hips to.
Whether you need the best stripper songs for your occupation or just plain listening pleasure, I hope you have fun with this list.
Abilene Woman’s Meth Recovery Facebook Photo and Comments Go Viral and Inspires Many
What started off as simple words of celebration turned into an image and inspirational message that went insanely viral all over the internet, landing the story on CNN and MSN News (among others).
This past year, my friend, Shanna, just celebrated 6 years of freedom from the grasp of Meth addiction so she posted a before and after picture on Facebook that showed her while she was addicted beside one from today. Along with the picture was her inspirational message of celebration. Shortly after she posted that message, friend after friend commented, liked and shared it as it went viral. To coin a phrase, it has gone around the world and back.
According to PornMD, Texans are Freakin’ Sickos
PornMD.com is basically an adult film search engine. Well, the website recently revealed the top 10 most commonly searched terms on porn sites over the past 6 months. The widget actually allows you to see the most commonly searched terms for each state in the U.S., as well as countries all over the world.
You wouldn’t believe (maybe you would) what the #1 most commonly searched term was in Texas. It’s freakin’ sick, in my opinion.
New Texas State Laws That Went into Effect September 1st 2013
Many new Texas laws went into effect September 1st, 2013. In case you haven’t had a chance to check out some of the over 600 laws passed, here’s a rundown of some of the more notable ones.
Chris Cornell Sings Lyrics of Metallica’s “One” to the Music of U2′s “One”
hris Cornell is currently on an acoustic tour and those that get the chance to see him are witnessing absolute magic while he performs unplugged. Yes, he’s written legendary music on his own, with Soundgarden and with Audioslave. But the magic I speak of isn’t his music, it’s Cornell singing the lyrics to Metallica’s “One” over the music of U2′s “One” and it is truly epic.
Frank Pain Issues Video Response to Rolling Stone Magazine’s Decision to Feature Boston Bomber on Cover [NSFW]
So Rolling Stone magazine recently defended their decision to feature Boston Bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, citing it was within their tradition of serious and thoughtful coverage.
You know, they have every right to do whatever they want on and in their magazine.
That right was afforded them by the great nation we live in…America!
This great nation also afforded me the right to respond to the offensive cover in my own, legal way.
So, I took my free media copy (yes Rolling Stone, you can stop sending them) and burned it.
