Twin Peaks has lost yet another of its returning Showtime cast, as star and co-creator Mark Frost’s father Warren is no longer with us. The Twin Peaks coroner and sometime Seinfeld star has passed away at age 91.

Per TVLine, the Bronx and Vermont native had been battling an undisclosed longtime illness, and had recently reprised his role in Showtime’s 2017 Twin Peaks return, along with fellow late co-star Miguel Ferrer. In addition to portraying Doctor Hayward on Twin Peaks in the original run, Frost was also known for his role as George’s fiancée Susan’s father on Seinfeld, as well as appearances in Matlock, The Stand and more.

Said son and David Lynch’s Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost:

We’re saddened today to announce the passing of our dear old dad, Warren Frost. From the Normandy shores on D-Day to his 50-year career on stage and screen, he remained the same humble guy from Vermont who taught us that a life devoted to telling the right kind of truths can make a real difference in the lives of others. We’re grateful to have shared him with the world for as long as we did.

Best wishes to all those mourning Frost’s loss, and we’ll see you in Twin Peaks.
