Capcom has brought back the Hunters, Chimeras, Crimson Head Zombies, Lisa Trevor and all your other favorite bio-organic weapons in the HD remastered version of Resident Evil, including that giant plant boss.

This trailer for the Resident Evil HD Remaster focuses on all the new features being added into the game. Capcom has decided to throw in a new control system that no longer has Chris or Jill moving like a tank (though the option to use the older method of movement is included). The trailer focuses on Wesker's Reports, which appear to be redone in video format for the HD Remaster than the text versions that appeared in the original version of the game. Watching all this footage of Resident Evil's GameCube remake being remastered has us hopeful that 2004's Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes gets an HD remake as well.

Resident Evil' HD Remaster is expected to launch for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC sometime in early 2015.

We know this RE remake will be providing a ton of creepy moments, including a giant shark (we're serious):
