Depending on where you are in the country, a look our your window may involve rain or even worse, snow, but recently a number of your favorite bands offered a ray of sunshine by announcing their tour plans for the summer. There are quite a few awesome tour packages preparing to hit the road, but only so many concert dollars to go around. So we want to know which tour you are most looking forward to attending this summer.

Having spent the early part of The Stage album cycle supporting Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold will jump into their rightful headline spot this summer, inviting Prophets of Rage and Three Days Grace along for a powerful three-band bill. Also announced this week, Breaking Benjamin and Five Finger Death Punch, both with new albums coming, will co-headline a tour that also features Grammy-nominated openers Nothing More and the buzzworthy Bad Wolves.

Speaking of new music, Godsmack and Shinedown both have records expected in 2018 and very loyal fan bases ready to check out this co-headlining run. And what about "The Twins of Evil" -- Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson -- who will set out on "The Second Coming" together this summer.

Several tours have special hooks. Smashing Pumpkins reunited three-fourths of their classic lineup and will be playing their early works on tour. Evanescence will continue touring with an orchestral backing, welcoming violin maestro Lindsey Stirling as the co-headliner. Pearl Jam will hit the road, playing a string of a baseball venues.

The summer will bring us more Foo Fighters shows, delivering their epic sets with the continued question of which "friend of Foo" might show up. And Thirty Seconds to Mars return with new music and a solid support list of bands including Walk the Moon, Mister Wives, Joywave, K. Flay and Welshly Arms.

Finally, there are a few "finals" this summer. Slayer's farewell tour carries over to the summer with support from Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament and Napalm Death making for a metal masterpiece of a show, while Warped Tour packs up the vans for its final run with quite a few veterans of the punk rock summer camp putting in appearances.

Take a look at all the major tours announced so far for summer and let us know which turnstiles you'll be passing through. Vote in the poll below.
