U.K. upstarts RavenEye are building up to the Sept. 23 release of their debut album, Nova, and they've teamed up with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of the lyric video for their new song "Inside."

As you can hear, the English trio muster up quite a rocker, with driving guitars and a vocal that alternates between aggressive and melodic.

Frontman Oli Brown tells us, "'Inside' is essentially about being your own worst enemy -- the voice inside your head that keeps you down and fighting against yourself. Hence 'Close your eyes and I’ll meet you on the Inside.' It’s definitely held me back at the worst of times." He adds of the lyric video, "I taught myself how to make the lyric video for 'Breaking Out' [from the band's debut EP of the same name] as a means to get our music on YouTube without it being a static vid. I watched a few YouTube videos explaining the basics on how to animate and took it there myself. After that video we decided to apply it to the new album and work on it for 'Inside.' It’s fast moving as to show the manic intensity of the mind. I wanted to bring in the artwork used on the record to tie it all together, so when you get the booklet off the album you can see it’s all linked."

Though they've been around for a relatively short period, forming in 2014, RavenEye have won over crowds, opening for the likes of Slash, The Darkness, Deep Purple, Halestorm and more. And after a pair of South American dates in early September, they'll return to Europe for a fall trek. See all of their scheduled dates here.

As for the Nova album, as stated, it's on track for a Sept. 23 street date. You can pre-order the RavenEye album via Amazon or iTunes or check out other streaming and pre-ordering options here.
