Presenting A New Alternative To April Fools Day

Boy the internet sure is dorky on April 1st. As a mater of fact it's dorky every other day of the year as well. Anyways, April Fools Jokes are so ill conceived and butthole-ish (yeah that's a word) that we ought to drop it all together.

Okay, hang with me now. We have pot-lucks here at the radio stations and they are some of the most joyful times. There's just good vibes in the air when everybody gets together and eats. So my proposal is simple, let's dump "April Fools Day" and change it to "April Foods Day" and encourage everyone everywhere to potluck it for the day. Everybody bring something to work or gather everyone at the house and just throw down on an epic munch.  It is just awesome to stare down a table at a dozen dishes and three desserts. There's almost no way you can't smile. Best of all you're not making enemies like you're making on April Fools Day. In fact you're making friends because  it's really hard to hate on someone when they brought cake.
