Pop Evil have released a video for "A Crime To Remember," the third clip for their eponymous fifth record. The band previously released videos for "Waking Lions" and "Colors Bleed."

Like those clips, "A Crime To Remember" was directed by Columbia Tatone. Shot mostly in the dark, the video starts with dim lighting and silhouettes of the band members performing. Then, the scene is brightly lit by a background screen that depicts images of protesters at rallies and citizens who strive to be unified despite growing conflict.

Are we divided/ Are we united?” sings vocalist Leigh Kakaty as different individuals vanish and reappear on the screen.

“Columbia has delivered what we feel is the most powerful video to date for Pop Evil," he said in a press release. "The concept keeps an open book storyline on how human beings view the world at the moment. Our hope is to raise awareness that it’s time for all of us to come together and be united.”

Before the video begins, a message flashes in tribute to producer Kato Khandwala, who was killed in a motorcycle accident last month in Los Angeles. In addition to working with Pop Evil on their recent album, Khandwala produced or engineered for The Pretty Reckless, Breaking Benjamin, My Chemical Romance, Halestorm and others.

“It’s been a long few weeks for us," continued Kakaty. "We are still grieving the loss of Kato who was an incredible talent and an amazing human being. His daughter Paris is in need of help since his passing, donations can be made to her here.”

Pop Evil are getting ready to launch a tour supporting Poison and Cheap Trick on the “Poison…Nothin’ But A Good Time 2018” tour. See the list of tour dates here.
