A new update for the PlayStation 4 will add some much-requested features culled from feedback from players.

Scott McCarthy, Director of Product Planning & Software Innovation at SCEA, posted the news of the update on the PlayStation Blog. The software update will include a rich video editor that will let you personalize your video clips. You'll also be able to export them with the Share button to a USB drive. The update also adds an HDCP off option for capturing gameplay over HDMI. This means you can record and share longer clips to a second device to really show off your mad skills online.

In a future update, the ability to archive Twitch broadcasts will be added. All in all, it looks like good news for PlayStation 4 fans looking to spam the Share button in order to show off their experiences online.
