Phil Spencer Reveals Halo News Will Be Unveiled at E3

Phil Spencer, Vice President of Microsoft Game Studios, has revealed that there will be Halo news announced at this year's E3.

Spencer tweeted a reply to a fan who asked, "What's up with the next Halo?"

Apparently 343 Industries "has a great plan in place," though no other hints about the news or the game itself were given. E3 2014 will be held at Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA from June 10 to June 12. We'll have to wait until then to find out any more news about the next Halo game from 343 Industries. Rumors have persisted about a Halo 2 Anniversary Edition and the arrival of Halo 5, but nothing concrete has come from Microsoft in regards to its flagship FPS franchise. In the meantime, we can always await the arrival of the Halo television series, which is in development over at the Xbox's Entertainment Studio. Will it be a good year for Halo? It's sure looking like one.
