Supreme Court Rules In Favor Of Gay Marriage

Blacks and Hispanics are the current targets for racists, but there was a time when the Irish and the Swedes and so on were all hated on. (White) Women got the right to vote in 1920, but it wasn't until the 70's that the started really making progress. Native Americans are still stereotyped and disrespected. Heck when I started at the radio station we were seriously looked down at as "dirty rock and rollers" (almost seems funny now that rock has been around so long).

All of the groups I mentioned don't want to be the victims of bigoted behavior, but some still want to be bigoted towards others. Sorry, it doesn't work that way.  If you expect certain rights and privileges, you have to extend them to others as well.  That includes members of the LGBT community. It's time to grow a spine and step up for this group.

I am also against people using the usual "cop-outs". Saying "I'm not gay but, I support..." is a cop-out. Saying "I think it's a sin, but I still love them" is a cop-out. Step up and take a real stand.  Some of you are still "old school" and don't want to be called out for being "gay". Well, get over it. You know who you are, you know what you like, and you all know a good person who is gay, so quit posing when that word is thrown around. Many of you would take a punch for a friend, you can most certainly take the word "gay".

It's time to quit spreading the hate and start standing up for all humans. You can be the person  in your group of friends that starts making a difference.
