– Nearly two decades after Nirvana brought the Vaselines to a wider audience by covering ‘Jesus Doesn’t Want Me for a Sunbeam’ on ‘MTV Unplugged,’ the Vaselines brought ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic onstage to perform the tune — on accordian, no less — during their Monday set at the Bumbershoot festival.
