Nile Announce 2014 North American Tour

South Carolina death metal icons Nile will be embarking on a North American tour beginning in April of 2014.

With three local bands opening the show in each market, Nile's set will include songs from throughout their career, including several songs that have never been performed live. The April 19 show will be part of the annual New England Metal & Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Mass.

Nile's latest album 'At the Gate of Sethu' was released in July of 2012. Their seventh studio album was their highest charting to-date, landing at No. 131 on the Billboard 200 during its debut week.

In other Nile news, the band's drummer George Kollias will be releasing the book 'The Odyssey of Double Bass Drumming - I: The Beginning' in January. It's the first of three books about double bass drumming, each designed for a different skill level. Pre-orders of the book are available here.
