New Texas Tech Football Hype Video Kind Of Lacking [VIDEO]

I know you have to be familiar with the concept of the football hype video. It's supposed to get the base pumped up and energized. Well, this one just kind of stinks.

Please don't think my problem is with the hip-hop. Like herpes, hip-hop is something that just has to be dealt with. The problem is, it's slow, laid-back hip hop. How is that supposed to pump you up? 

I admittedly don't know the song, but I know Tech has some exciting footage here that is being seriously brought down by the music. 

Seriously, turn this one down and put up "Seek and Destroy" by Metallica or "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC and you have something. I KNOW it would be too much to ask for "Custer" by Slipknot.

After you check out the Tech video as is, turn the sound down on it, turn up the sound on the VOLs video and re-watch the Tech video. You'll get the difference immediately.

I grabbed the first "hype" video that came up from another major university. It's from Tennessee. They use generic sports music and it's still WAY more exciting.
