New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick Denies Postgame CBS Interview – Does That Make Him a Sore Loser? [POLL]

Some people might think that If you were to look for the definition for the term ‘sore loser’,  you might find a picture of New England Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick.  The hoodie wearing coach pretty much dissed the entire football loving sports world, as well as CBS, by not granting a postgame interview following the Patriots loss to the Ravens in the AFC Championships game.

After losing to the Baltimore Ravens 28-13 in the AFC Championship game, Belichick snubbed CBS by not granting the customary after game interview that coaches give after winning or losing.  This obviously upset CBS analyst and former player Shannon Sharpe, who pretty much ripped the coach for doing what he did.

I admit that I thought the same thing as Sharpe did – Belichick is a sore loser. In fact, some of you commented on my Facebook page that he was as well. But, is he?

This is not the first time that Belichick has snubbed the media after a tough game.  In fact, he even walked off the field with 1 second left in Super Bowl XLII, a loss against the New York Giants.  However, he has not only been a grumpy loser, but he does it sometimes even if the Patriots win.  So, honestly, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that he didn’t grant the interview.  Plus, he did do a postgame interview with the rest of the media – just not with CBS.

So, what are your thoughts on this?  Do you think Belichick is a sore loser, or do you think he’s just a grumpy old dude?  Take our poll below and feel free to leave your comments as well.
