The Chase for the Sprint Cup continued at New Hampshire Motor Speedway as Tony Stewart took the checkered flag for the second straight time in only the second race in the Chase in the Sylvania 300. What a difference a year makes.  In some sort of weird twist, Stewart was able to climb into first place as Clint Bowyer ran out of gas. Stewart was leading the Chase last year when they raced at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, only to run out of gas at the end of the race, giving Clint Bowyer the win, and putting sort of a domino effect on his season.  This year, his two wins to kick off the Chase make him the favorite to win the championship with only 8 races left to go.

Here is how the rest of the top 10 looked followed by a recap of the race in pictures.
