Movies with many different segments are - by nature - hit and miss, but the star power alone in 'Movie 43' should make it a curio to be curious about. To whet appetites, they've released a red band clip which features (among other things) Jason Sudeikis checking out... well, see for yourself.

The tone they seem to be going for here is that of 'Kentucky Fried Movie,' which may be the best of these types of movies, though it seems that the success of 'Saturday Night Live'  and sketch shows by the likes Dave Chappelle and - now - Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele have kept the best sketches on television. But even 'SNL' is very hit or miss, so having a movie and the time to create a solid two to ten minute bit should be that much easier, or at least, you would think. We'll know for sure when the film hits theaters January 25.

Here's a synopsis/cast list:

In Movie 43, comedy is served steaming hot by director Peter Farrelly of The Farrelly Brothers (Something About Mary, Dumb & Dumber) in one of the most original comedies ever made. Starring Elizabeth Banks, Kristen Bell, Halle Berry, Leslie Bibb, Kate Bosworth, Gerard Butler, Bobby Cannavale, Kieran Culkin, Josh Duhamel, Anna Faris, Richard Gere, John Hodgman, Terrence Howard,  Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Justin Long, Stephen Merchant, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloë Grace Moretz, Chris Pratt, Liev Schreiber, Seann William Scott, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, and Kate Winslet, Movie 43 is jaw-dropping, uproarious, outrageous fun.
