Motley Crue singer Vince Neil recently revealed his intentions to learn how to fly and to do so with the help of ‘The Aviators’ television show. It looks as though things are progressing based on some new photos that have surfaced.

A full photo gallery of Neil’s first training session has appeared on the Facebook page of the upcoming PBS series. In the photos, we see Neil going through the paperwork and a classroom session before he exits the hangar and gets up close with the plane he’ll be training on for the first time.

Neil’s training event is lasting approximately two weeks and the entire process has been captured for the third season of the PBS program, which will air this fall.

The rocker got involved through Sennheiser’s ‘Live Your Dream’ campaign, which is designed to assist those with a passion for flying to overcome their barriers and partake in the flight training.

The show will not only air on PBS, but will be available on iTunes and Hulu. Producers will also shoot plenty of behind-the-scenes footage that will be made available for selected media.
