Gear Factor host and Music Experience main man Squiggy recently caught up with Motionless In White on one of the Warped Tour's final dates.  They started off talking about musical influences, but soon the conversation veered towards the significance of the Warped Tour, and what it has meant to their band.

Guitarist Ryan Sitkowski said that he was inspired to play guitar after hearing Slipknot's 1999 self-titled album, "It was the first heavy album I ever heard." After hearing "(sic)," he said, "I was like, 'Holy shit,' I was eight years old, my mind was blown."

Guitarist Ricky Olson, meanwhile, cited CKY's "96 Quite Bitter Beings." "The riff is sick. After I could actually play [guitar], it was one of the first songs I tried to actually learn."

On the subject of the end of Warped. Sitlowski says, "It's pretty much like a second home. This is the tour that you expect to do every summer. To me, it was my first tour ever in 2008. This is my ten year [anniversary] in the band. The last date on the Warped Tour [that year] was my first show ever."

Olson adds, "I actually think that our band probably wouldn't be where it is without Warped Tour, because of how many opportunities they've given us to be a part of it. We're exposed to thousands of people every day [on the tour] that might not have heard of us otherwise. Kevin Lyman giving us a chance and letting us be a part of it for all these years has been nothing short of amazing."
