Influential horror punk outfit the Misfits have booked a fall 2012 tour that will kick off Oct. 12 in Worcester, Mass., and continue into December.

The veteran rockers are currently supporting their seventh album, 2011′s ‘The Devil’s Rain,’ which pulled its name from a 1975 horror film. Both ‘Land of the Dead’ and ‘Twilight of the Dead’ were re-recorded from past efforts to be part of the record, with the latter track serving as the lead single.

The album was produced by Ed Stasium, and finds the band with the current lineup of Jerry Only, Dez Cadena, and Eric “Chupacabra” Acre.

Prior to the fall run, the band will make appearances at Fort Lauderdale’s “Afterburn” after party at Revolution Aug. 24, and at West Palm Beach’s Respectable Street a day later on Aug. 25.
