The calendar may tell you we're approaching Christmas, but this past week Ministry made sure it was Halloween in Hollywood. Though the Al Jourgensen-led group has been around since the '80s, they did achieve a "first" this past week, rocking "(Every Day Is) Halloween" live for the first time.

The performance of the song came Thursday night (Dec. 20) at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles and featured guest turns by Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro and returning Ministry musician Chris Connelly on the song. Watch the acoustic version of the track played live in the player below.

"(Every Day Is) Halloween" was initially the b-side of "All Day," released by Wax Trax Records in 1984 after the band's exit from Arista Records. Both songs eventually ended up on 1987's Twelve Inch Singles collection which chronicled their work between 1981 and 1984.

"(Every Day Is) Halloween" had never been played live prior to Thursday's show-closing performance, but it is expected to be included on an upcoming live album from Ministry. Connelly, who joined Ministry for the show, also performed on the song "So What."
