If you're a true fan of metal, then there's no doubt that you've heard of the band Testament. The veteran thrash metal band from California have been around since 1983 and are still going strong. In fact, they just released their official trailer for their live DVD/CD coming out called 'Dark Roots Of Thrash'.

As a huge Testament fan myself, I'm pretty amped up about this new live DVD/CD combo that documents their show at The Paramount in Huntington, New York earlier this year.

According to blabbermouth.net, front man Chuck Billy had this to say about the new live DVD/CD release:

"For all you diehard metal heads out there, 'Dark Roots Of Thrash' is a must-have for your collection. This live DVD and CD is something you can put in you player and crank up for the feeling of a live Testament performance! You will get 18 songs from the early days of thrash metal to where we are today. Heavy metal forever!"
Look for the new DVD/CD set to drop in North America on October 29th. And, look for them out on tour with Lamb Of God and Killswitch Engage. In fact, that tour will hit Grand Prairie, Texas on November 2nd.
