In This Moment will be making their 3rd trip to Abilene to play The Freakers Ball on October 30th. Their frontwoman, and metal goddess, called in to The Morning After to chat with me about the upcoming show.

First off, Maria has to be the easiest person to talk to. We talked at length about the band's past, as well as the journey they took to becoming the band they are today. She sincerely feels the band, with their latest album "Blood", have found their true identity. Their evolution not only consists of their sound, but also her love of stage performances and the overall production of their live show.

She also revealed the concept behind the name of their current tour, Hellpop, as well as how they decided which bands they wanted on the road with them.

Maria shed some light on the controversial cover image for their latest single "Whore". The passion she carries behind the artistic side of what she does is truly overwhelming.

Finally, we talked about her love of the band's fans. In This Moment is a true fans band. They know that without the fans, they'd be nothing. Her appreciation and respect for the fans and music is what makes her a gem.

Not only will you get to see the show of a lifetime, but you'll get to meet a few of the great people in the world of music.
