Rob Zombie recently wrapped his first day of shooting on his new horror film 31. The writer and director celebrated the beginning of the shoot by announcing that acclaimed actor Malcolm McDowell is portraying Father Murder, the owner of Murder World in the film. McDowell joins the cast that already features Tristan Voges, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and E.G. Dailey.

Zombie took to Facebook to make the announcement writing: “DAY ONE of filming 31 has been completed so I thought it was time to share another awesome addition to the cast. We now present MALCOLM McDOWELL as FATHER MURDER the owner of MURDER WORLD.” McDowell is best known for his sinister role in the classic Stanley Kurbrick film A Clockwork Orange and for playing “Dr. Samuel Loomis,” in Zombie’s 2007 remake of Halloween.

The rocker also recently announced that Judy Geeson is playing “Sister Dragon” and David Ury, best known for his roles in Breaking Bad and American Horror Story will portray “Schizo-Head.
