After the announcement a couple weeks ago that  were returning with a new singer and the new album 'The Turn' on Oct. 28, the band has unveiled a new single. Listen to 'The Way Around Is Through' above.

Live recently revealed that Chris Shinn had replaced longtime singer Ed Kowalczyk following an extended hiatus. However, 'The Way Around Is Through' has that vintage Live sound. Like their biggest hits from back in the '90s, it has both dramatic tension and plenty of memorable hooks.

A PledgeMusic pre-order for the album is under way, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Musicians on Call organization. Various bundles are available including everything from posters and t-shirts to autographed items and even a Skype guitar lesson with Chad Taylor.

'The Turn' is Live's first studio album since 2006's 'Songs From Black Mountain.' The band worked with producer Jerry Harrison, who oversaw ‘Mental Jewelry,’ ‘Throwing Copper’ and ‘The Distance to Here,’ all of which went platinum.

1994's 'Throwing Copper' was their biggest commercial success, selling more than 8 million copies in the U.S. and spawning the No. 1 smashes 'Lightning Crashes' and 'Selling the Drama' along with the top 10 hits 'I Alone' and 'All Over You.'

Live have two U.S. shows on their calendar. They'll be playing New York on Oct. 22 and Los Angeles on Oct. 28 before heading off to Europe for several concerts. For all their tour dates, go here.
