Lightning’s Story Goes 16-Bit in Final Fantasy 13 Retro Video
Sure, there were some aspects of Final Fantasy 13’s story that were lacking, such as its script and voicing acting. Luckily, this retro-spective trailer of Final Fantasy 13 and its sequel, Final Fantasy 13-2, tells the story of both titles in a format we greatly miss, 16-bit.
Featuring the visual style and sound effects of the last Final Fantasy title to use 16-bit graphics, FF6, the stories of FF13 and FF13-2 arguably look even better than they did on current-gen consoles. Watch the story of Cocoon unfold and see if you even care anymore about the l’Cie jargon-filled dialogue of FF13.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will be hitting PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Feb. 11.
