Legless Dog Rescued, Saved From Being Food

I got this from the Beagle Freedom Project. It's a press release about a little dog named Chi Chi that had been tortured and was intended to be served as food in South Korea!

"It was by chance that rescuers in South Korea saw a black garbage bag moving, and upon closer observation, saw a beautiful Retriever inside, barely alive, with legs bound and rotting. Rescuers immediately took her in, and veterinarians went to work. She was so infected, her bones and tendons were exposed."

All four legs had to be amputated to save the poor pup's life. Now, Chi Chi is being flown to the U.S. to a new life with her adopted family.

We really need to use our influence as one of South Korea's most generous benefactors to convince them to give up this barbaric culinary practice. "Hey, South Korea!", we should say, "We fought to keep you a democracy against the commies! Do you enjoy not starving like they do in NORTH Korea?? Well, maybe consider NOT eating dogs. It's not like you don't have chickens and pigs."

Also, do you know what the main difference is in owning a dog with no legs? You don't take it for a walk, you take it for a drag.
