Lamb of God's 'As the Palaces Burn' documentary is soon to hit theaters! Originally meant to showcase how extreme music and bring people together, the film was suddenly forced to change direction after vocalist Randy Blythe was arrested for manslaughter in the Czech Republic. Beginning in February 2014, fans will be able to watch 'As the Palaces Burn' on the big screen thanks to a new worldwide distribution deal.

Not to be confused with the 'As the Palaces Burn' making-of documentary packaged with the 10-year celebratory reissue of that same album, the new documentary will delve deep into Blythe's arrest, jail time, trial and acquittal. For the original idea of what 'As the Palaces Burn' would be, a worldwide casting call occurred before filming in Columbia, Venezuela, Israel, India and the U.S. However, nearing the film's wrap, Blythe was arrested, changing the film drastically.

Directed by Don Argott ('Last Days Here' / 'Art of the Steal' / 'School of Rock'), 'As the Palaces Burn' captures life during Blythe's 38-day imprisonment, his release on bail, Lamb of God's return to the stage and Blythe's manslaughter trial.

'As the Palaces Burn' will debut worldwide on Feb. 27. Following the film, a 30 minute Q&A session with Lamb of God, which was conducted by 'That Metal Show' host and radio personality Eddie Trunk, will be shown. The Q&A took place at the final show of Lamb of God's most recent North American tour.
