Labor Day Sales in Abilene – Our Top Five

Well, Shoe Carnival has a Back to School sale going on but if I'm not mistaken, this sale is pretty much an on-going one. Regardless, shoes are essential, especially if you walk into one of the those restaurants with the "no shoes, no service" signs. Shoe Carnival is located in the Shops at Abilene and they're sale is buy one, get one half off. I actually took advantage of this sale recently because my daughter needed shoes and I found a pair I really liked as well. Maybe this sale is different because of the $5 off coupon they offer online.  Print that sucker off then save even more money when you go to Shoe Carnival.

One of my favorite annual sales is the Lowes Labor Day Event. This is the time you'll find great "end of summer" type of deals. As a matter of fact, the lawnmower I have now was the one I bought last year. Heck, I saved well over $50 on it. So, if you're looking to save money on lawn items, be it mowers, trimmers, grills or even outdoor furniture, then the Lowes Labor Day Event is the time to do it.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Wally World has great savings during Labor Day Weekend. This is a great time to catch serious deals on Back to School items for the kids, college essentials, and even massive clearance prices on their summer collection. Just like most places, that summer stuff has to go and they're getting rid of it at ridiculous prices. Heck, you don't even have to get off your butt. Catch your Walmart savings online.

This isn't exactly a Labor Day or Back to School sale, per se, but it's probably the one that's most worthy of this list. Use an HEB gift card for gas and they'll discount your gas 11 cents per gallon. Holy cow, how kick ass is that? Seriously, you do the math. Save lots of money on your gas then do your shopping at HEB for even greater savings.
