Korn released their tenth studio album, ‘The Path of Totality,’ on Dec. 6, 2011. On that day, Korn celebrated the album with a special record release show at the Hollywood Palladium featuring Skrillex, Kill the Noise, Datsik and other ‘Path of Totality’ contributors.

Korn are now set to release a BluRay / CD combo of the show titled ‘The Path of Totality Tour: Live at the Hollywood Palladium’ on Sept. 4 of this year.

Seen as somewhat of a revival for the band as well as an experiment with dubstep integration, ‘The Path of Totality’ was voted ‘Album of the Year‘ at the 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards.

Fans can expect a unique live experience from the concert footage, which according to the band’s website, “Features Korn classics, deep cuts, and incredible live interpretations from the new album all rolled into one amazing night.”

Before ‘The Path of Totality’ was released, Korn singer Jonathan Davis spoke to Rolling Stone about promoting more creativity in the rock world. “Rock has been so f—ing lame lately,” said Davis. “It’s like there’s a certain formula you have to follow to get on the radio, and songs all sound the same.”
