KISS and Motley Crue fans have been salivating since news first broke that the two rock ‘n’ roll powerhouses were joining forces for a full-blown tour this summer. With the official announcement just hours away, the bands have released a teaser trailer and poster for what is being dubbed simply as ‘The Tour.’

Starting in July, Kiss and Motley Crue will head out for a co-headlining tour where both acts will bring their full stage shows. “You are going to see two huge headliners at the same time,” Crue singer Vince Neil explained of the joint venture. ”It’s going to be one of the biggest tours of the summer, if not the biggest.”

While official details have yet to be announced, a countdown clock — that is set to expire at 5PM ET today (March 20) — has appeared on the official websites of both KISS and Motley Crue. Presumably the dates and full details for ‘The Tour’ will be announced once the clock expires, as further evidenced by a teaser video posted by concert promoters Live Nation. The nearly minute-long trailer teases the Twitter hashtag #TheTour as a viral promotional tactic before displaying today’s date.

Stay tuned for news regarding ‘The Tour’ after the two doomsday clocks have counted down to zero.
