Last week it was revealed that Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach would perform a spoken word show Jan. 21 in Melbourne, Australia. Now, Leach has added three DJ shows to his schedule while he's down under. Leach talks about the shows in the video above.

The mini tour kicks off Jan. 15 at Hot Damn in Sydney. He'll be at Brightside in Brisbane on Jan. 16 and in Melbourne at the Gasometer on Jan. 24. The shows will see Leach mixing songs from genres ranging from metal, hardcore, punk and crust to hip-hop, drum and bass and reggae.

"I am eager and excited to kick off my first DJ tour," Leach says. "I have been at this on and off for six years in the Northeastern U.S. and I love sharing music that moves me! There is an amazing rush I get when I play a song and watching the crowd react or when someone approaches me wanting to know what song I played. I do this because I love it."

Leach continues, "However, I also do this to bring to light and give attention to some of the underground bands that have inspired me and music in general."

The spoken word night Jan. 21 at Eureka Rebellion Trading in Melbourne, dubbed 'Memories, Words and Songs,' will find Leach sharing childhood memories, opening up about his musical inspiration, discussing his lyrical themes and reading his own personal poetry. He'll also do a Q&A.

"My spoken word night is something I've wanted to do for a while and it being my first one, I am nervous and quite excited to see how it turns out!" Leach exclaims. "I just want to give a little insight into my life and give something back to all of the fans that have supported me over the years through thick and thin..."
