Killswitch Engage fans will soon have a couple of releases to tide them over until the band's next studio album. A special vinyl edition of Disarm the Descent will be released at the end of the month and the band also has a DVD in the pipeline.

In the Instagram post below, frontman Jesse Leach links to a post from Ian McFarland, who talks about mixing and mastering Killswitch's 2014 Halloween live show at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass.

Leach writes that the concert film will appear on an eventual DVD release along with "some other cool stuff."  No word yet on an exact release date for the DVD, but it is expected sometime this year.

The band has also announced a special limited edition gold double vinyl edition of their 2013 album Disarm the Descent. It will be released March 31 and include a bonus acoustic version of "Always." You can pre-order it at this location.

Killswitch also has the new song "Loyalty" that's been included on the recently released Catch the Throne: The Mixtape, Volume 2. The set is currently available for free download at iTunes. Other artists appearing on the homage to HBO's hit series Game of Thrones include AnthraxMastodon and Mushroomhead.

When it comes to a new album, Leach stated in an interview earlier this year that they hope to finish their seventh full-length this summer. The band also has some touring on their agenda, including an April show in the Philippines, the Ink 'N Iron festival in Long Beach, Calif. on June 13 and Wisconsin's Rock Fest on July 16.
