Country singer Kellie Pickler first popped up on our radar during the fifth season of ‘American Idol’ where she eventually finished in sixth place. Yes, we watched Idol back then, because everyone did and we can’t handle peer pressure very well. It’s also the reason we wore Ed Hardy shirts. Pickler has since gone on to become a huge star and has sold over a million records.

Pickler is active supporter of the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, a leading pediatric treatment and research facility focused on catastrophic diseases. She has also participated in three USO tours, visiting our soldiers fighting overseas. We’d sign up for the military, just on the off chance we’d get to have Kellie visit us. We actually tried to trick her once into coming to our office under the guise that it was a ‘war zone’ but her people told us ‘un-assembled chairs and a stank fridge’ is hardly a war zone.

Kellie Pickler is our ‘crush’ today because of her talent, amazingly adorable looks, but most importantly, her charity work.
