It’s hard not to get a little bit excited for the new Jumanji movie — with a cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan, they could be making a live-action movie about Thomas the Tank Engine and we’d still watch it. So while we wait for the first official trailer, Johnson and Co. have been keeping us up to date with a steady stream of behind-the-scenes photos and videos, the latest of which offers some insight into the difficulties of filming a big budget movie in Hawaii (spoiler: it’s not that difficult).

In a new Instagram post, Johnson hangs out with Kevin Hart and Jack Black and reveals their little on-set quirks — Hart, for instance, “angrily eats Doritos and will tell you to ‘go f— yourself’ if you stare too long.” Sounds about right:

In another post, Karen Gillan — who recently received a little backlash for her revealing costume — says that being an actress is hard, while reclining on set as the hair and makeup crew get her ready for filming and an assistant tends to her with a portable fan. Yup, seems tough:

Jumanji is based on Chris Van Allsburg’s classic 1985 story, which was previously adapted for the big screen with Robin Williams in 1995. Johnson has said that the new film is more of a sequel than a reboot, and they’ve found a nice way to honor the memory of Williams, who passed away in 2014.

The new Jumanji also stars Nick Jonas, Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner and Ser’Darius Blain, and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 28, 2017.
