Heavy metal gods Judas Priest have just announced that they will be releasing the new concert Blu-ray/DVD, 'Epitaph.' The upcoming release documents Priest's final 23-song performance of their monstrous 50-week 'Epitaph' world tour, which concluded last year at London's HMV Hammersmith Apollo.

'Epitaph' is set for release on May 28, almost exactly one year since Judas Priest's final performance of their world tour. There are some incredibly important characteristics of the upcoming 'Epitaph' concert film that cement the footage as essential for any hardcore Priest fan. 'Epitaph' promises to be "the most far-reaching live concert recording in the band's career," as the new release contains at least one song from each of Judas Priest's 14 studio albums.

Additionally, Priest fanatics are sure to come out in droves for 'Epitaph' due to the band's claim that their 'Epitaph' world tour would be the last large-scale outing of their career. 'Epitaph' also serves as the debut for new guitarist Richie Faulkner, who replaced longtime shredder K.K. Downing in 2011.
