Jill Valentine – Cosplay of the Day

Today's featured cosplay lights our chests a-glow, just like her own heart -- or whatever the hell that thing attached to her sternum is.

Meet Jill Valentine, folks. You may be familiar with her from the Resident Evil and Marvel vs. Capcom series, but here she is in her battle suit from Resident Evil 5. It's always weird to see such a drastic change in appearance for a character you've known for years, but we're going to call this one an upgrade. She's sporting longer, blonder hair and tighter clothes, but she's still the same Jill we love, except when she's under Wesker's control.

And who's the savvy cosplayer who's rocking this amazingly accurate look? Why, it's Spiffzaya, a cosplayer from the US! From the blonde hair to the chest control gem thingy, Spiff's got everything she needs to look just like Jill. In fact, if you look closely, she even kind of looks like the in-game model. Either she's really that good or someone's discovered how to make Weird Science a real thing.
