The Muscles from Brussels goes to war in order to find out how many licks it actually takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

Just stop and be amazed at this amazing, badass re-imagining of the famous Tootsie Pop commercial from the late '60s..The original commercial has been used in syndication for decades and still sporadically airs on television to this day. But it appears that Ben Luce, a creative director who specializes in 2D and 3D motion graphics, decided that the ad was due for a change.

Luce reached out to Colonel William Guile himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme, in order to give the questioning boy's inquiries about the famous lollipop a modern-day makeover.

The video starts off with the boy walking among a wasteland of broken Tootsie Pops that were all bitten into for the sake of reaching the center. As the boy asks the famous how-many-licks question, his new costar appears onscreen. But instead of asking each animal about Tootsie Pops, JCVD ends up shooting and stabbing his way through them in order to expedite the boys' search for the truth.

The video reaches its climax when JCVD and the boy encounter Mr. Owl. But in this version, Mr. Owl is just as ruthless as he is wise. Instead of the popular scene where he licks the Tootsie Pop three times and then bites into it, Mr. Owl shoots three arrows into the questioning boy -- whom Van Damme uses like a human shield -- counting off his shot arrows with some familiar words.

It all ends the only way it could: with Van-Damme doing an epic kung-fu dive at the screen. You can watch the hilarious and bloody action above.
