I find conspiracy theorists so annoying. I don't know why, but I do. I guess deep down I feel like they make weak minded people unduly paranoid. Truth be told though, it's probably worth having a few around just in case something real is going on.

So what was the first clue that there was nothing to the whole "Jade Helm" thing? I guess it's the fact that they told you all about the whole "Jade Helm" thing. They told us when, where and for how long. They told us what to expect and what not to worry about. It's a military exercise. It happens all the time, but some people want to tie it to the closing of Walmart, the end of a presidency and whatever Kim Kardashian is wearing that day (I made that last part up, but it makes as much sense as anything else).

What truly bothers me is that we have some Call Of Duty playing wannabe hero/patriots who are going out armed to "monitor" the U.S. Military. The good men and women of our armed services don't deserve to have these nuts staring them down.  It's disrespectful, embarrassing and a little dangerous.  I don't know who these cuckoo birds think they're standing up for either, because if I have to stand behind them and their discount AK's or behind the U.S. Military, I'm supporting the military.

In the end though, Jade Helm will go down with Y2K, the aligning of the planets and about a hundred other nonevents we've seen come and go. The real question is, when we will learn as a country to dismiss this kind of conspiracy b.s. outright?
