Jack White, the hardest working man in show business (slight pause, as we pay respect to James Brown), has announced a string of U.S. and U.K. tour dates in conjunction with his forthcoming debut solo album, ‘Blunderbuss.’ That’s the good news. The bad news is that he will only be in the States for two weeks.

White’s tour schedule takes the shape of a Fibonacci spiral, spinning from the Midwest down to the Gulf region, then up the East Coast and over to the Pacific Northwest before shooting down to Los Angeles. And yes, we just made a Fibonacci reference on a music site.

After the L.A. dates, White will take two weeks off — presumably to jump in the studio and make another album with someone — and then he will play nine shows in Europe before wrapping things up at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. That last tour date is where you’ll find us, because the Specials and the Stone Roses are currently scheduled to play Fuji as well. Look for the Diffuser.fm Fuji Rock Festival Kickstarter campaign to launch shortly.
