Start counting the days, In Flames fans. The rockin' Swedes will soon be back on the scene with new music. In fact, you can circle Dec. 14 on your calendar as they've announced plans to release the single and video for "I Am Above."

For those looking for some instant gratification, the band just issued a teaser for the clip. The 20-second piece finds a close-up shot of a man, while singer Anders Frieden belts and heavy distortion-filled guitars provide the backing soundtrack. Check out the "in-his-face" teaser below.

The video, when it arrives, will feature the visual work of Patric Ullaeus, who has helmed videos for Amaranthe, Lacuna Coil and Dimmu Borgir among others.

In Flames have seen a turnover since their last album, with singer Anders Friden, guitarists Bjorn Gelotte and Niclas Englin remaining. Bassist Bryce Paul, keyboardist Niels Nielsen and drummer Tanner Wayne have rounded out the group on the road. The group is currently wrapping up the year on tour in the U.S., and will be playing in Lawrence, Kan. tonight. (Nov. 28). See the remaining U.S. stops here, as well as their European appearances scheduled for summer 2019.
