For a guy with a pretty big mouth, I really don't have much to say about the Baltimore Riots. It seems like everyone on Facebook has an opinion, but I'm pretty blank.

I have seen many sides to this story and I only have one kind of thought or observation-sometimes you just got to let a fire burn itself out.  I don't think troops or National Guard will help the situation. I don't think shooting looters will ease the tensions. I don't think Obama calling for peace will mean anything. I see the riots the same way I see a two year old toddler throwing a fit-you just let them wear themselves out.

You can talk about police inequity or poor conditions or whatever you want, but I'd like to know what school came up with the formula "set something on fire=better".  Evidently this area had just landed some chain stores after many years of a depressed economy and now those are being burnt down. So long progress!  Now the people with any money to invest at all are going to completely bail out of the area.  Everyone involved with this nonsense just made things exponentially worse for everyone else.

In the end, I think there are people out there suffering in the world who want help and a better life. People who value what they have and appreciate everything they get. These are the people worth supporting and publicizing, not a community that allows it's own infrastructure to be destroyed.
