How To Brine A Turkey For Thanksgiving Dinner [VIDEO]

YouTube

I know there are lots of ways to fix turkeys and everyone has their own favorite recipe, but if you’re new to cooking Thanksgiving dinners you may need a little help. One thing you want to do is brine your turkey.

So what does it mean to ‘brine’ a turkey? It’s a salt water solution that breaks down the connective tissue and adds flavor. The salt makes the water or moisture infuse into the turkey making it juicy. So I suggest to brine your turkey so you don’t have cardboard for lunch!

You will need a big tub that the turkey plus some water will fit into. You will also need some sugar, salt, ice cubes and bourbon (I’m liking this recipe already).

I hope that helps you out some this Thanksgiving. I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving day…now go eat that super juicy turkey!
