Honda’s ‘Mean Mower’ is Clocked at 130 MPH to Become the World’s Fastest Lawnmower
Spring is here, which means it's time to crank up the 'ol lawn mower again. We all know that mowing the lawn can be pretty boring. But, it would get a lot more interesting if you had a lawnmower that could go 130 mph. Check out Honda's 'Mean Mower' that would definitely get your lawn mowed a lot faster.
For the Speed Week issue of the BBC's 'Top Gear' magazine, Honda modified a riding lawnmower than can reach 130 mph. The modified mower has a motorcycle engine, a steering rack from a Morris Minor car, a lower seat, and wheels and tires from a quad bike.
The mower actually doesn't go over 15 mph while mowing a lawn, but get this bad boy on a track, and it will fly!
Check out a groundskeeper taking the mower for a ride, as well as a commercial from Honda about the modified 'Mean Mower'.
