The puck stops ear.

That may be what Christian Ehrhoff of the Buffalo Sabres was saying after he got drilled in the ear by a puck during Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

It took 40 stitches to get it back to normal, but Ehrhoff was proud of it — so proud that he tweeted a photo of his mangled ear. Brace yourself, it’s pretty gross.

Well, you were warned. It’s just the latest example of hockey players showing off the gruesome nature of their injuries. For the love of Zambonis everywhere, we beg you to stop.
