He's a master with the drum sticks, but how does Vinnie Paul do with turkey legs? Fans may soon find out as the Hellyeah stickman is reportedly eyeing the release of a new cookbook.

During an interview with In the Vault With Shanda Golden (watch above), the drummer dished about his plans to finally release a long-in-the-works cookbook. He told the host, "I’m going to get it out, I promise, by Christmas this year. About two Christmases in a row have kind of gone by. But we have a big tour coming up in Europe right after this [tour], so that way, I’ll have a lot of time to myself to finish it up."

Speaking about the cookbook, he stated, "I’ve already got about 125 recipes in it. It’s called ‘Drumming Up an Appetite With Vinnie Paul’. How clever is that? It’s got a picture of me sitting behind a drum set. I’m holding two turkey legs, which are otherwise known as drum sticks. And it’s all about cooking and having fun with it. I don’t get too specific about it. But I do think a lot of people think cooking is throwing something in the microwave. And it’s something that you’ve really got to be passionate about, just like playing an instrument. And if you put your heart and soul into it, and then you feed it to people, and you’re [like], ‘Oh, man! This is so good.’ It makes you feel good. It’s just like playing music; [people say] ‘G--damn, I love this s--t!'”

The drummer goes on to share the contents of his recent Super Bowl bash, which included 30 pounds of shrimp, po boys, New England lobster chowder and more.

As stated, Paul has been busy with Hellyeah. The group is currently headlining dates with support from Devour the Day and Like a Storm. To see their remaining shows, click here. The band is currently promoting their Blood for Blood album.
